Maher Meads Pty Ltd has been providing
quality general insurance advice since 1988,
and in its previous forms since the early 1960’s when
Ron Campbell
started as a life insurance agent for the AMP
Society.
His business grew rapidly based on hard work and excellent
service levels, resulting in Ron winning numerous State
and National awards.
John
Maher
and Thom
Meads also became agents of the
AMP Society in the early 1980’s,
and in 1988 saw the need to merge their general insurance
portfolios to form Campbell
Maher Meads Pty Ltd.
Peter
Steven was employed at that time
to manage, run and grow the business, which he did -
culminating in the business also winning numerous Industry
Awards - both State and National.
Ron
Campbell retired in 1996 and his
share of the business was purchased by John, Thom and
Peter, and in April 2016,
Peter and 20 year employee Vanessa
Guerra purchased the shares of
the business outright from John and Thom.
The
business philosophy is the same now as it was back in
the early 1960’s, ‘Professional
service on a personal level’.
